Kampala Faded socialite Bryan Kirumira, aka Bryan White, has been charged with human sacrifice and manslaughter following the death of his girlfriend, Caroline Nalubwama.

According to Police Kirumira and agroup of his assocaites carried out a ceremony of sacrificing Carol in hope of getting  rcih fortunes . Under Prohibition of Human Sacrifice Act,Byran Whie now faces Human sacrifice charges.

During a session at Makindye Chief Magistrates Court, four other people including Kirumira’s wife, Daisy Nalunga, Naava Nakato, Joyce Irene Nambalirwa ,the owner of Mabirizi Nursing Home and Daphine Abaho appeared in court.

The socialite who is still nursing injuries in hospital didn’t appear in court but he is accused of man slaughter and human sacrifice.

The state accuses Kirumira of causing the death of Carol Nalubwama, 25 for the purpose  of performing or furthering witchcraft, ritual or other unlawful  purposes.

According to the charge sheet, the accused face eight offences, including human sacrifice, manslaughter, rash and negligent conduct, unlawful possession of narcotics, conspiracy to commit a felony, and giving false information to police.

Bryan White additionally faces charges of rash and negligent acts and narcotics possession.

All four were remanded to Luzira Prison until December 18, 2025, when the case will return before Chief Magistrate Sarah Basemera for the formal reading of charges.

Daisy Nalunga, Daphine Abaho, and Naava Nakato are charged with conspiracy and providing false information, while Joyce Irene Nambalirwa faces manslaughter and negligence for mishandling the victim’s treatment.

Prosecutors allege that on October 22, 2025, at Kyamula Zone in Makindye Division, Bryan White caused Nalubwama’s death in an act intended to advance witchcraft or ritual practices.

She was reportedly burned and later taken to Kiruddu Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.

Police investigations indicate that while Bryan White claimed the injuries were caused by a cooking gas explosion, Nalubwama’s family suspects ritual involvement.

Investigators reportedly found grass-thatched structures at his home, believed to be shrines, adding to the suspicions.
