Speaker of Parliament Anita Among has broken Uganda record by becoming the first weathiest Politician and Business Woman to acquire New Rolls-Royce Cullinan 2025 model valued at shs 4billion elevating her status and class.
The Rolls-Royce Cullinan is considered one of the world’s most expensive luxury SUVs and is owned by royalty, billionaires, entertainers and sports stars across the world.
The new Royce is an addition to Speakers high-end luxury Mercedes-Benz S500L AMG Line A 2022 model used for official duties she previously procured for Parliament leadership in 2022.

Anita Annet Among born on 23 November 1973 is a Ugandan accountant ,lawyer and politician who is the Speaker of the 11th Parliament of Uganda since 2022.
She also concurrently serves as the elected Member of Parliament for the Bukedea District Women Constituency, the same position she held in the 10th parliament (2016–2021).
She was in the Forum for Democratic Change party before she joined the ruling NRM where she was voted as the Deputy Speaker of the 10th Parliament.
She is also the second female deputy speaker in the history of Uganda’s parliament after Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga.
She is the proprietor of Bukedea Comprehensive Academy, a co-educational boarding school founded in 2018 and Bukedea Teaching Hospital and Bukedea Comprehensive Sports Park

From 1998 to 2006, Among worked at Centenary Bank one of the large Commercial banks in the country as cleaner during her S.6 Vacation, later becoming a cashier and Branch Manager. For 10 years prior to her election to Parliament she served as a lecturer in accounting, at Makerere University Business School and Kampala International University
Among was elected as the new Speaker of the Parliament of Uganda on the March 25, 2022 replacing Jacob Oulanyah who died in Seatle Washington.
In 2023, she urged members of the Ugandan National Assembly to support a new bill that would make the mere fact of identifying oneself as LGBT illegal and risk up to ten years of incarceration.
Key reasons for her Popularity and Prominence
As the Speaker,she leads the legislative body, taking over from Jacob Oulanyah in 2022. She is only the second female Deputy Speaker in Uganda’s history, after Rebecca Kadaga, before becoming Speaker.
Political Power and Influence: She is frequently described as a top power broker and one of the most influential figures in President Museveni’s government, often seen as a key loyalist.
Known affectionately as “Toto” (mother) in her home region, she is popular for community-driven development in Bukedea District, including building schools, a hospital, and a sports stadium. She was returned to Parliament unopposed twice.
High-Profile Philanthropy: She often makes headlines for her charitable contributions, such as funding a UGX 15 billion (~USD 4.3 million) cancer patient’s home at the Mulago National Referral Hospital.
