Avance International University in Nabweru, Wakiso District, is set to hold its fifth graduation ceremony on September 25, 2026 where at least 220 students – will graduate with degrees and diplomas in different discipline.
The theme for the graduation ceremony centers on Innovation,AI Integration and global competitiveness
According to the University’s Substantive Vice Chancellor, Dr. Kato Kimata Joshua, this years graduation ceremony will be presided over by His Royal Highness Isabaruuli Isabarongo Mwogezi Butamanya, the King of the Baruuli tribe.
He further revealed that Emeritus Bishop of Mukono Diocese, Rt. Rev. James William Ssebaggala, will preside over the ceremony and confer degrees and award diplomas and certificates to the graduates.

The Ministry of Education and Sports and the NCHE ordered provisionally licensed private universities to submit roadmaps or secure full charter status.
