Zari Hassan aka Boss Lady has called off her five years relationship with Shakib Cham Lutaaya.
In a statement shared on her Instagram account, Zari revealed that the separation was mutual and that there was no bitterness between the two.
“We believe it is best for us to part ways due to irreconcilable differences. While this wasn’t an easy decision for either of us, we appreciate the time we shared, the memories we created, and the support we gave each other,” Zari said.
She added: “There is no anger or resentment. Sometimes two people simply grow in different directions. We value each other and remain friends with mutual respect and understanding. We sincerely wish each other happiness, success, and all the best for the future.”
The couple had been together for five years and held an Islamic Nikah ceremony in Pretoria, South Africa, in April 2023.

Their relationship experienced both joyful moments and public challenges.
In 2024, Zari openly criticized Shakib during a livestream, questioning his contribution to their relationship following a disagreement involving her former partner and Tanzanian music star Diamond Platnumz.
The disagreement reportedly arose after Diamond visited Zari at her South African home, a move that allegedly upset Shakib.
“Then my husband started tripping, saying, ‘You invited your man to the party. You are still in love with him.’ I told him I didn’t invite Diamond and I did not know he was coming,” Zari said during the livestream.
According to Zari, Shakib questioned why she had not informed him about Diamond’s visit and suggested she still had feelings for the father of her children.
The socialite maintained that she could not prevent Diamond from seeing their children and expressed frustration over constantly having to justify herself.

“I have to be here every day proving myself to you. Proving myself to you every day! What do you bring to the table for me to be here every day proving a point to you?” she said.
