Victoria University is offering  free training opportunity to the public to explore how Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Uganda.

From awider perspective AI  is reshaping different industries, while guiding learners on study and career options in an era where digital skills are critical.

According to the university, the goal is to help students remain relevant, adaptable and competitive as the job market continues to evolve.

In a statement, Victoria University said the free AI lectures will be conducted both online and in physical classrooms to ensure wider access. The university emphasised that its approach to education goes beyond awarding degrees, focusing instead on preparing learners for life and work in a changing world.

The programme reflects Victoria University’s broader commitment to future-ready education, with a strong focus on innovation, creativity and problem-solving. Participants will build foundational AI knowledge that is increasingly in demand among employers both in Uganda and globally.

Applications for the free AI training are now open, giving prospective students an opportunity to begin their academic and professional journey with in-demand skills. Interested applicants can find more information and apply through the university’s website at http://vu.ac.ug.
