“WE SHALL NOT STOP DESPITE US,IRAN CEASEFIRE,” NETANYAHU

Despite  US ceasefire agreement with Iran, Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s  maintains that Iran will not have nuclear weapons.

President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance signed the agreement to end a US blockade of Iranian ports, reopen the Strait of Hormuz and start 60 days of nuclear negotiations, a senior US official said. Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf  signed the document for Iranian side the officials said.

“Trump’s agreement does not bind us,” Israel’s far-right national security minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, wrote on social media on Monday. “We are not partners to this agreement that does not ensure our security.”

“Israel will continue to protect itself,.We will do what we need to do. And we expect our friends to understand us,” he said. “Sometimes there are disagreements between allies, and allies should also understand their allies when they are in danger.”

Minister of National Security stated that by allowing Iran to decide what will happen in Lebanon, the US is giving Iran the possibility to continue to support Hezbollah, and to make sure that Hezbollah is a major political actor in the Lebanese arena.

“Israel is not happy with that – neither the security establishment, nor the political side,” Itamar Ben-Gvir  said.

“I have devoted most of my adult life to one goal—preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons,” he said during a press conference in Jerusalem.

“We will do what is necessary. I do not limit myself in any way on this goal: Iran will not have nuclear weapons.”he added.

“I have expressed my views in discussions, but we have our own interests: first, no nuclear threat; second, Lebanon – we created a buffer zone and will remain there as long as necessary,” Netanuahu said.

“Iran wanted us to withdraw – that did not happen. You know why? Because I stood very firm. Our American allies respect that determination. We also insist on preserving our operational freedom – if we are attacked or threatened, we respond.”he added.

Security has been the cornerstone of Netanyahu’s  political career for decades.

Israel plays a significant role in Iranian security by serving as its primary regional adversary, which drives extensive Iranian defense posture and strategic concerns. This longstanding geopolitical rivalry includes proxy conflicts, deep intelligence penetration, and direct military operations

Israel, often in coordination with the United States, has conducted direct military campaigns within Iranian borders. These have notably included joint operations to suppress air defenses, precision strikes, and assassinations of key leadership and nuclear scientists

Israeli intelligence agencies, such as the  Mossad have deeply infiltrated Iran’s domestic security. These efforts involve recruiting local sources, disrupting sensitive nuclear programs, and gathering intelligence from secret facilities, sometimes utilizing covert networks on Iran’s immediate borders

The two nations have been locked in a proxy war since 1985. Iran relies on a network of allied militant groups—most notably Hezbollah—to project power and challenge Israeli security. In response, Israel directly targets Iranian assets and personnel in neighboring countries like Syria.
