Uganda’s leading market leader in roofing,Uganda Baati Limited has confirmed its participation in the 31st Uganda International Trade Fair, scheduled to take place from October 2 to 12, 2025, at the UMA Show Grounds in Lugogo.

The trade fair, organized by the Uganda Manufacturers Association (UMA), is one of the country’s largest exhibitions, attracting more than 1,500 exhibitors each year. This year’s fair runs under the theme “Sustainable Industrialization for Inclusive Growth, Employment and Wealth Creation.”

Jackie Tahakaniza, Head of External and Corporate Affairs at UBL highlighted the importance of connecting with customers on such platforms. “The Uganda International Trade Fair allows us to bring Uganda Baati’s solutions to life. Our goal is for every visitor to leave our booth not just impressed by our products, but equipped with the knowledge, confidence, and practical ideas to make informed and lasting building decisions.” she said.

She revealed that Uganda Baati will use the platform to showcase not only its innovative roofing and construction products but also its broader role in providing sustainable building solutions for Ugandan families, communities, and businesses.

“Visitors to the Uganda Baati booth will experience firsthand a wide range of roofing profiles including Lifestile, Orientile, Romantile, Versatile, Covermax, Resincot, and Dumuzas, as well as essential accessories such as roof nails, ridges, and valleys. In addition, the company will spotlight its engineered solutions such as SAFBUILD, ULTRASPAN, and SAFCOOL,”she stated.

According to Jackie One of the key highlights at the Uganda Baati booth will be expert advisory sessions. Engineers, sales professionals, and technical specialists will be available to provide personalized guidance to visitors, from homeowners starting new builds to contractors managing large-scale projects.

“To make the experience more engaging, Uganda Baati will host a “lucky Q&A hour” at select times each day. Walk-in customers who participate will have the chance to win branded goodies while gaining a deeper understanding of the company’s product range. Beyond the fun, this activity is designed to empower customers with knowledge, helping them make informed building choices,”she stressed.

Uganda Baati’s presence at the trade fair underscores its commitment to amplifying brand awareness, reinforcing market leadership, and empowering communities through durable, innovative, and sustainable building solutions.

According to UMA Chairman Aga Sekalala Jr,the Uganda International Trade Fair (UGITF) continues to grow with the last one attracting 1350 exhibitors drawn from 28 countries and 25,000 daily unique show guests.

UGITF is the premier business development event in East Africa which offers an unrivaled opportunity to showcase your products and engage with your customers.
