Uganda is ready to host Africa’s top hospitality investment meeting ,the Future Hospitality Summit (FHS) Africa from February 2-3 at Speke Resort Convention Centre in Kampala.
The campaign leverages a strong rebound in Ugandan tourism, which records more than 1.6 million international arrivals and yields between $1.6 billion and $1.7 billion in tourism earnings.
Hosting FHS Africa puts Uganda’s unbranded, high-potential urban and leisure destinations (like Kampala, Bwindi, and Queen Elizabeth National Park) directly in front of international hotel developers and operators.
The event is poised to bring together global investors, tourism leaders, and government officials to celebrate Uganda’s bright future in tourism.
Roy Bannister, Head of Strategic Partnerships for FHS Africa, noted that the summit is a place where investors meet developers to turn new ideas into real businesses.

“FHS Africa coming to Uganda reflects something much bigger than a conference. It is a platform where capital meets opportunity, investors meet developers and new relationships translate into new investments and businesses,” Bannister said.
UTB CEO Juliana Kagwa stated that the event connects professionals to share knowledge and discover hidden gems in Uganda’s market.
“FHS Africa creates a platform where investors, developers, operators and hospitality professionals can meet, exchange knowledge, build relationships and discover opportunities,” she said.
Hon. Okot Boniface Henry, Chairperson of the Trade and Tourism Committee, promised strong backing from Uganda’s parliament to unlock the nation’s full tourism potential.

He stressed that Uganda offers unique advantages that make it a prime spot for new hotels and tourism projects:“A strategic location right on the equator with year-round great weather, stunning wildlife, national parks, lakes, and diverse culture and Uganda Airlines is expanding its regional routes—including new flights to Accra and Kigali—making it easier for guests and investors to arrive,”he stated.
