The International University of East Africa (IUEA) is set to celebrate the achievements of its graduating class at its 12th Graduation Ceremony  scheduled for 27th November 2025. 

The event will be held  at the university’s main campus located at Plot No. 1112/1121, Kansanga Ggaba Road, Kampala under the inspiring theme: “Building Business  from University Breakthroughs”.

According t he University VICE chancellor Emeka Akaezuwa,this year’s theme highlights IUEA’s commitment to transforming  innovative students and staff ideas into sustainable enterprises.

The ceremony will showcase how the university nurtures enterpreneurial skills and fosters innovation among students, with graduates presenting projects and research that have real-world applications.

“We have done a lot of innovations in E-Mobility, AI and Engineering. At the end of the year during graduation we bring all of this together and this year we are moving a step ahead by introducing breakthroughs which means all the innovative ideas that we have we are bringing them together to show people how those innovations impact lives of the people.” Prof. Emeka Akaezuwa, Vice Chancellor of IUE said.

He revealed the ceremony will feature keynote speeches from distinguished entrepreneurs and industry leaders, award presentations for outstanding academic and innovation achievements, and recognition of students whose projects have strong potential for commercialization.
