The two celebrities held their colourful introduction ceremony on tuesday, August 12, at Luzinda’s parents’ home in Matugga in Kampala.
Special Presidential Advisor on Political Affairs, Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo Uzeiye who presided over the event as guest of honour urged the couple to anchor their marriage on faith in God and strong moral character. She encouraged them to pay no attention to detractors, saying, “Ignore naysayers whose work is to bring you down.”
As a gesture of goodwill, Hajjat Namyalo gifted the couple a cash contribution exceeding $3,000
The celebrity introduction ceremony featured several performances from leading gospel and secular musicians, creating an atmosphere of joy and celebration.
Levixone, born Sam Lucas Lubyogo on December 7, 1992, is a prominent Ugandan gospel musician. He is known for his blend of R&B, soul, and reggae music and has received numerous international and local awards, including the 2018 Sauit Awards (USA) for East African Male Artiste of the Year and the 2021 Vine Awards for Male artiste of the year. He is also recognized for his successful concerts, having staged nine major events in the history of Ugandan gospel music
