Former Uganda girls group BLU*3 are destined for areunion concert on June 22nd at Sheraton Gardens in Kampala Ali Albai Event organiser has confirmed.

 

In a statement released by Talent Africa Group, Albai expressed excitement about bringing BLU*3 back together on stage, highlighting how the group captured the hearts of millions during their prime.

 

“The reunion concert is seen as a celebration of BLU3’s legacy and their significant contribution to Ugandan music,” Albai stressed.

 

“Fans should expect a night filled with beautiful music as BLU*3 takes them on a journey down memory lane, performing their hits and fan-favorite tracks. From “Hitaji” to “Burn,” each song is sure to reignite fond memories and transport concert-goers back to a time when BLU3 ruled the airwaves, “Albai added.

 

BLU*3, consisting of Cindy Sanyu, Jackie Chandiru, and Lilian Mbabazi, who rose to fame in the early 2000s, becoming one of the most beloved musical acts in Uganda and beyond.

 

This highly anticipated event marks the first major concert featuring Cindy Sanyu, Lillian Mbabazi, and Jackie Chandiru since 2008. Blu*3 captured the hearts of millions with their infectious melodies, dynamic performances, and undeniable chemistry.

 

According to the post shared by Talent Africa Group the organizer of the concert, bringing BLU*3 back together on stage is an opportunity for Ugandans to have an exceptional experience, highlighting how the group captured the hearts of millions during their prime.

 

The reunion concert that was initially set to take place on March /8th /2024 and later postponed due to unbearable circumstances is seen as a celebration of BLU3’s legacy and their significant contribution to the Ugandan Music Industry.

 

The concert promises to be an unforgettable night, featuring electrifying performances, special guest appearances, and a journey through BLU 3’s greatest hits. From the infectious energy of “Hitaji” to the sweet melodies of “Nsanyuka Nawe” and the soulful ballads of “Where You Are,” BLU 3’s music continues to resonate with audiences of all ages.
