Mukiza however assured those not yet paid to be patient as the Bureau makes corrections on their census details for payment.

“The Uganda Bureau of Statistics would like to assure the public especially those whi have not received thsir payment that all efforts are being put towards ensuring that every one is paid,”he said.
” We are working closely with Officials of the lical government especially the district and cities to ensure that the pending field participants are all cleared for payment. The Bureau would like to emphasize that all participants in the census enumeration will receive their entitlement directly through mobile money or bank account presented in one’s individual names, “Mukiza stressed.

Mean while UBOS is currently processing and analysing raw census data to the village level of which final results will be disseminated at the end of September.

UBOS has embarked on Post Enumeration survey aimed to validate tge quality of census results in terms of coverage and content.
This is in line with International best practices of cibducfijg nayionsl population and housing cebsus this August in all 15 districts andb11 cities.
This survey exercise is estimated t9 cost shs 3.9billion.

“UBOS would like to appeal to the house holds innthe sampled villages to cooperate with field staff to ensure accurate captyre of information. All LC cgairpersons are encouraged yto mobilise their respective selected villages to enhance full enumeration coverage, “Mukiza said.
