Media personality Etania Mutoni has declared war on girls eyeing  Music star Joshua Baraka.

Joshua Baraka is a fast-rising 24-year-old Ugandan singer, songwriter, and producer known for his genre-bending Afropop, R&B, and soul sound. Emerging from a church background, he achieved massive success with the 2023 hit “Nana” and is recognized as a top musical artist in East Africa, winning multiple 2025 HiPipo Music Awards

“I don’t joke in love, God forbid we end with Daddy Bear, I’ll show you another one. I won’t fail to fall in love because I’m scared of before and after moments, I’ll continue falling in love,”she stated.

“Any man who gives you peace, makes you glow. Men can make you run mad but God gave me this one, he doesn’t stress me so this glow is his. I also don’t stress him,”she added

Etania  is curently in love with Music Star Joshua Baraka and  while many people admire their relationship, she dares any kampala girl to stay away.

“Punches will fly in Kampala. I don’t play with love,”she warns,

Etania says she is rwady to introduce Baraka to her family as future husband.

Speaking highly of Joshua Baraka, Etania described him as loyal, reserved, and a true gentleman. She expressed confidence in his faithfulness, noting that she has no worries about him cheating.

“My man is a foreign breed. He’s always reserved so I’m not worried. He doesn’t go around eating anything,”she excitd said.

Despite her strong attachment, Etania made it clear that she believes in love wholeheartedly and isn’t afraid of heartbreak.

About Joshua Baraka

He was born on December 13, 2000, in Kawempe, Kampala, Baraka grew up in a musical family with a mother who was a worship leader, which helped him become a multi-instrumentalist (guitar, piano). He blends Afropop, reggae, and soul, refusing to stick to one genre.

Baraka  gained widespread recognition with the 2023 hit “Nana”. Other notable works include “Wrong Places” (2025), the Baby Steps EP (2021)Watershed (2022), and Growing Pains (2024).

In 2025, he won four major awards at the HiPipo Music Awards, including Artist of the Year and East Africa’s Best Artist..

He was Inspired by artists like Bob Marley, Maurice Kirya, and Cory Henry and has collaborated with major artists, including Joeboy, Bien, and King Promise.

Baraka describes his music as a way to tell stories about life, aiming to make a positive impact with intentional lyrics.
