Uganda’s leading Beer Brand Nile Special has sunk cash into sponsoring Jamaican dancehall artist Spice  Concert in Uganda.

The event slated for December 6, 2025, in a major music and cultural experience spearheaded by Africa One Tours and Travel Ltd under its lifestyle brand, Safari Beats.

The announcement was made during a high-profile media launch at Serena Hotel, Kampala, where organisers unveiled the broader Safari Beats vision—an innovative fusion of entertainment and tourism aimed at repositioning Uganda as a cultural and travel destination.

Spice, often referred to as the Queen of Dancehall, will headline the event alongside Uganda’s top female performers Cindy Sanyu, Sheebah Karungi, and Winnie Nwagi. The “Queens of the Stage” concert will showcase both international and local talent, celebrating the power of female artistry in music.

“Kenya holds a strategic place in East Africa and the entire continent’s growth story. UBA is committed to being a long-term partner in unlocking the immense potential here,” said Alawuba.

Organisers say the concert will be more than just a music event—it’s an immersive experience designed to tell Uganda’s cultural story through live performances and tourism integration. Spice’s itinerary will include visits to Murchison Falls National Park, Kasubi Royal Tombs, Bulange Mengo, Namugongo Martyrs Shrine, and other heritage sites, spotlighting Uganda’s unique blend of history, nature, and culture.

The initiative also received a major endorsement from Nile Special, Uganda’s leading beer brand, which was unveiled as the exclusive beer sponsor of the event.

“This isn’t just a concert; it’s a celebration of exceptional talent and cultural pride. These artists—Spice, Cindy, Sheebah, and Winnie Nwagi—are fearless performers who represent the spirit of greatness that Nile Special also stands for,” said Eric Malinga, Brand Manager for Nile Special.

“This partnership is more than sponsorship. It’s a salute to excellence and a toast to Uganda’s rich, dynamic music culture,” he added.

Safari Beats CEO Paula Nahamya highlighted that the brand is focused on redefining entertainment in Uganda through tourism-led storytelling.

“With Safari Beats, we are creating journeys that connect our music, our heritage, and our natural beauty. Bringing Spice to Uganda is about more than the stage—it’s about national pride and cultural celebration,” Nahamya said.

The event is being organised in collaboration with the Uganda Tourism Board, Ministry of Tourism, Uganda Wildlife Authority, Uganda Airlines, Buganda Heritage and Tourism Board, and other key stakeholders. Leading content creators Wazo Dazo will provide real-time coverage under their signature “Wazo Dazo Way.”

Production and ticketing will be managed by ATS Events, Quicket, M-Ticket, and Flexi Pay.

As excitement builds, “Queens of the Stage” promises to be a landmark celebration of African culture, female empowerment, and Uganda’s potential as a global entertainment and tourism destination
