 MTN UGANDA SCOOPS MOST ADMIRED BRAND AWARD

Telecom Giant MTN Uganda has scooped prestigious Uganda’s most Admired Brand Award 2025 courtesy of Brand Africa

This happened at the awards ceremony held in Kampala under the theme: Celebrating the Most Admired Brands in Uganda.

Established in 2010, brand Africa is an intergenerational movement to inspire a brand-led African renaissance to drive Africa’s competitiveness, connect Africa and create a positive image of the continent.

ICT STATE MINISTER ADDRESSING WINNERS

State Minsiter for ICT kabyanga urged the corporate companies to invest in Corporate Social Responsibility to drive their brand power among consumers.

“I wish to implore Uganda’s made brands to give back society in social causes to make their brands known by consumers. Once consumers can reason ate with the brands such company can generate more revenue,”he stressed.

Other brands recognized by Brand Africa included Cocacola,Rwenzori Water,Nile Breweries,Movit Products, Stanbic Bank, among others.

Thebe Ikalafeng Brand Africa Chairman congratulated winners but urged them to go beyond Uganda market by focusing Africa market to increase their market share.

He said winners of this year’s edition focused on initiatives thar resonated with community needs.

Mtn Uganda ceo Sylivia Mulinge  in her remarks said,“We are encouraged by the trust our customers continue to place in MTN,”

MOVIT WINS COSMETIC BRAND AWARD

 “Our focus on enhancing the network, broadening access, and improving service quality continues to support both performance and impact.”Mulinge added.

MTN Uganda has extended digital access to underserved communities through its “21 Days of Y’ello Care” initiative. The campaign, delivered in partnership with four cultural kingdoms, supported hospitals and schools and reached over 67,000 beneficiaries. Total CSR investment during the period amounted to Shs 1.6 billion.
