NEW BELLA WHEAT FLOUR HITS UGANDA MARKET

Under the new brand name Bella,Dei Group of Companies has entered
Uganda’s wheat production sector with the launch of its premium Bella
Wheat Grain flour brand, targeting both industrial and household
consumers in a move that officials say will strengthen the nation’s food
security and revitalize the baking industry.


Bella Wheat flour now joins the likes of Pembe, Mandella Millers, Engano
Millers and Azam wheat brands in Uganda market.
Ronald Ssemakula Katali, the General Manager of Dei Group,
underscored the company’s commitment to providing high-quality, locally
sourced baking solutions that address long-standing challenges faced by
bakers across Uganda.

“We are proud to introduce Bella Wheat Grain, a product grown and
processed here, specifically designed to overcome the quality and
consistency issues that have troubled our bakers for years,” Katali stated.


He emphasized that the flour is “engineered not only for superior baking
results but also for increased yields, enabling bakers to produce more from
each kilogram.”


The Dei Group of Companies, which encompasses diverse entities
including Dei Industries International Ltd, Dei Organics, and Dei Biopharma
Ltd, is leveraging the expertise of Dei Industries International Ltd to
produce Bella Wheat Grain to international standards.


This expansion marks the group’s foray into the wheat production industry,
building upon its existing pharmaceutical and other ventures.
“This launch and our new branding represent our gratitude to our clients for
their decade of support, offering them an even higher-quality product,”

“Using a 50kg bag of standard flour might yield two jerrycans of dough, but
with Bella Wheat Grain, you will obtain two and a half, providing significant
added value,” he explained. “This is achieved through optimizing the
moisture content to levels below the 13.5% standard set by the UNBS,

allowing bakers to incorporate more water without sacrificing the final
product’s quality.”he explained.
Dr. Mathias Magoola, the Managing Director of Dei Group, expressed his
appreciation to the company’s loyal customer base, acknowledging their
pivotal role in the company’s growth from a modest maize flour operation at
Tirupati Mall to a major industry player.
“Our growth to this point is a direct result of the trust our clients placed in
our brand,” Dr. Magoola said.
Bella Wheat Grain, a new premium wheat flour from Uganda’s Dei Group,

supporting local production.
He further articulated the company’s vision to become Uganda’s foremost
taxpayer and a significant source of employment, projecting the creation of
over 40,000 jobs.

Wheat Grain brand.

relaunch, we are returning to the market stronger and with a superior
product,” she asserted.
