I WILL NOT TOLERATE TOXIC POLITICS, NAMYALO TELLS OPPOSITION

Senior Presidential Advisor and Head of the Office of the National Chairman (ONC), Hajjat Hadijah Namyalo, has declared herself “a sacrificial lamb” in defence of Uganda’s peace and stability amid escalating protest calls by the opposition National Unity Platform (NUP) both at home and abroad.

Namyalo said she won’t tolerate “toxic and deceptive politics” propagated by NUP, warning that the so-called “Protest Vote” campaign is endangering lives and misleading Uganda’s youth into deadly confrontations with security forces.

“The so-called Protest Vote campaign is not only misleading but dangerous. It is designed to incite violence and push innocent youths into confrontations that threaten their lives and the country’s stability,” she said, adding that Ugandan can’t be “governed on concocted human intelligence,” Namyalo stressed.

Her interface follows NUP-led protests both within Uganda and by diaspora groups in cities like London, Boston, and Brussels, calling for international sanctions and mobilizing against what they call state repression and electoral injustice.

Videos of Ugandans waving placards, storming embassies, and chanting anti-Museveni slogans have gone viral on social media, adding to the pressure cooker at home.

“You may think it’s harmless to chant and demonstrate abroad, but when those emotions are imported here and used to radicalize our youth, we will pay with blood,” she cautioned.

Namyalo  warned youths against embracing these protests  because they serve foreign interests and risk dragging Uganda into anarchy.

In a defiant tone, Namyalo dared both opposition bloggers and saboteurs within the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) who she claims are scheming against her leadership. “I am ready to face abuse, insults, or any kind of attack, but I will not be silenced. I am a sacrifice for Uganda’s continued peace and stability,” she declared.

Namyalo warned youths loyal to NUP president Robert Kyagulanyi, to aburdon protests because they will end up languishing in prison.

“Don’t be used as pawns. These leaders calling for protests are safe in their homes or abroad. It is you who faces the bullet,” she warned.
