Prudential Uganda aleading life and health insurer in partnership with Stabex Uganda and St Francis Hospital Nsambya have launched strategic wellness and financial inclusion initiative aimed at helping ugandans to take control of both their health and financial well being.

Prudential Uganda Chief Health Officlal Paul Mageni said the initiative  reflects the companys broader purpose of being partners for every life.

“At Prudential we recognise that financial security and good health are deeply interconnected .A healthy individual is better positioned to achieve their financial goals while financial preparedness helps families navigate unexpected health challenges with confidence. This partnership enables us to engage communities in meaningful conversations about both wellness and protection, ensuring they are better equipped to secure their future”he stated.

Mageni noted that as part of the intiative three organisations  will conduct two weeks wellness campaign at selected stabex fuel stations bringing preventitive healthcare services closer to communities while creating opportunties for ugandans to better understand the link between good health and long term financial security.

“Through the campaign members of the public will access complimentary health screening services provided by Nsambya Hospital,Including blood pressure checks, blood sugar testing, body mass index  assessments, eye examinations and personalised health education.Prudential Uganda will also engage the public on financial planning, protection and insurance solutions that can help individuals and families prepare for lifes uncertainties,”he explained.

Stabex Uganda General Manager Justus Kipto said the company is pleased to use its service networks to support community well being by making preventive health services more accessible to customers and surrounding communities.

“Stabex Uganda’s involvement reflects its commitment to creating value beyond fuel and convenience services.By transforming selected service stations into service wellness hubs, the company is providing customers with opportunities to prioritize their health during their daily routines,”he stated.

Nsambya Hospital Deputy Director Clinical Services noted that early screening is essential in helping individuals indentify potential health risks before they become serious adding that the hospital is committed to promoting preventive health care though community based outreach.

“Nsambya Hospital brings extensive medical expertise to the initiative through professional screening delivered by qualified health care personnel. The hospital continues to champion preventive healthcare as a critical pillar in improving health outcomes and reducing the burden of non communicable diseases through early detection and intervention.

For many ugandans preventive healthcare remains inaccessible or is often delayed until medical conditions become serious.at the same time unexpected health events can have significant financial consequences for individuals and families.By brining health care service directly into every community spaces the partnership seeks to encourage earky health screening, promote lifestyles and raise awareness about the importance of financial preparedness
