Launched recently after the rebranding exercise, Pride Bank has unveiled five new financial products in the market place.
The new products include Forex Savings Account,SME Corporate Loan,Mortgage Loan,Home Improvement Loan,Trade Finance Solutions among others
Pride Bank Managing Director Veronicah Gladys Namagembe said the new products an SME Loan Product, a Home Improvement Loan, Mortgage Loan,Forex services and Trade Finance were developed based on direct feedback from customers.
“The new products are aligned with the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals of boosting sustainable agriculture value chains, growing sustainable small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to drive economic transformation, and fostering economic resilience through financial inclusion,”She said.
“These new products are timely, targeted, and speak directly to the everyday realities of Pride’s customers, from business growth to home ownership to wealth preservation,” she added.
Joseph Fetaa, Pride Bank’s Head of Business, said Pride Bank is now equipped with a bigger and better basket of financial solutions, with more flexibility and responsibility to serve the full financial journey of customers – from their first savings account to their first home, first startup capital, and sustainable wealth.
“Pride Bank is now open for business, offering home loans, SME loans, USD-denominated accounts, and the best customer service we’ve always prided ourselves on,” Fetaa explained.
According to Fetaa,the bank currently operates 47 branches across Uganda. It has disbursed more than 2.2 million loans totaling over 3 trillion shillings and reports supporting school fee payments for over 1 million children of its customers. Namagembe added that the institution has employed “millions” of Ugandans.
