ROGERS MULINDWA PLEDGES GOOD LEADERSHIP AS NAKIVUBO STADIUM CHAIRMAN

National Resistance Movement spokesman and sports enthusiast Rogers Mulindwa has expressed his immense delight following his recent appointment as the new Board Chairman of Hamz Stadium at the Nakivubo War Memorial Ground.

The appointment was made by the Chief Executive Officer, Hamis Kiggundu, marking a significant milestone for the stadium and its management.

In his statement Mulindwa conveyed his gratitude and enthusiasm for taking on this pivotal role.

“I am truly honored and excited to be appointed as the Board Chairman of Hamz Stadium, Nakivubo War Memorial Ground. This iconic venue holds a special place in the hearts of many Ugandans, and I am committed to ensuring it continues to thrive as a premier sports and event destination,” Mulindwa said.

He also acknowledged the vision and leadership of CEO Hamis Kiggundu in revitalizing the stadium and expressed his readiness to work closely with the board and management team to achieve their shared goals.

“Under the visionary leadership of Hamis Kiggundu, Nakivubo War Memorial Grounds have seen significant progress.I look forward to contributing to this ongoing transformation and enhancing the stadium’s facilities and operations,” Mulindwa stressed.

Mulindwa brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role, with a background in sports management and administration.

His appointment is seen as a strategic move to further elevate the standards and reputation of Hamz Stadium, ensuring it meets international benchmarks and becomes a hub for major sporting and entertainment events in Uganda.

“As we embark on this new chapter, our focus will be on continuous improvement and innovation. We aim to provide an exceptional experience for all visitors, athletes, and fans, making Hamz Stadium a symbol of excellence and pride for the nation,” Mulindwa emphasized.

The Nakivubo War Memorial Ground, with its rich history and cultural significance, is poised for a new era of growth and development under Mulindwa’s leadership.

The stadium is expected to host a variety of events, from local sports competitions to international fixtures, contributing to the vibrant sports culture in Uganda.

Meanwhile, Mulindwa called on all stakeholders, including the government, corporate partners, and the community, to support and collaborate in this endeavor.

“Together, we can achieve great things for Hamz Stadium and ensure it remains a landmark of sporting excellence and national pride,” he concluded.

Nakivubo Stadium the new dawn of Uganda’s sports was recently launched following $200million rehabilitation programme courtesy of Hamis Enterprises.
