Uganda s leading private University that teaches authentic learning and cutting-edge education, Victoria University has bank rolled the Sheebah Karungi concert dubbed The Return of the Queen”
As excitement is building up for the highly anticipated concert featuring Ugandan superstar Sheebah Karungi.
Scheduled for August 22, 2025, at the luxurious Kampala Serena Hotel Kampala party animals are ready to pay the tickets to attend the concert.
This event marks Sheebah’s grand comeback following her 2023 Omwoyo Concert, which drew mixed reviews due to vocal performance critiques and Sheebah’s last concert before taking a break was the Neyanziza Concert, which took place on October 4, 2024, at Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala. During the concert, she revealed her pregnancy to the audience.
She has since given birth to a baby boy, Amir, in Canada on November 24, 2024 however determined to reclaim her throne, Sheebah has partnered with Victoria University, a rising educational powerhouse in Uganda, to deliver an unforgettable night of music and celebration.
“Victoria University is supporting Sheebah Karungi through a partnership that includes sponsoring her “Return of the Queen” concert and naming her as the university’s Career Ambassador. This partnership also involves a musical battle with Cindy Sanyu which the university is mediated to promote harmony and showcase the artists’ talents,”Conan Busingye the University Head of Marketing told this website.
He adds that additionally, the university is incorporating the event into its broader strategy for community engagement and future-proofing education through arts
