NCBA Bank Uganda Chief Executive Officer Mark Muyobo emphasized that the move aligns with the bank’s commitment to making banking simpler and more rewarding.
“At NCBA, we believe banking should do more than facilitate transactions; it should make life easier, create opportunities, and empower people to pursue their ambitions,” said Muyobo. “By removing transaction fees on selected services through our digital channels for the remainder of the year, we are encouraging customers to make greater use of digital banking while enjoying tangible savings on everyday transactions.”
The digital campaign directly complements NCBA’s active SME-focused initiative, “Ku NCBA Kiggwa Ku Bwererere.” Designed to cushion small and medium enterprises against high operational costs, this campaign offers qualifying businesses free banking and zero transaction fees and Zero arrangement fees on core credit facilities, including business loans, asset financing, Local Purchase Order (LPO) financing, and invoice discounting.
“We understand that for SMEs, every cost matters and every opportunity to improve cash flow can make a difference,” Muyobo added. “Together, these initiatives demonstrate our commitment to making banking work harder for our customers, whether they are individuals managing their daily finances or entrepreneurs building businesses.”
NCBA Bank invites existing, inactive, and prospective clients to download the NCBA NOW app or dial *212# to instantly benefit from these cost-saving measures.
