The Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the China Certification and Inspection Group (CCIC) to foster bilateral cooperation and promote the export readiness of Ugandan products for the Chinese market. State House Anti-Corruption Unit, working closely with the Criminal Investigations Directorate, has arrested seven suspects implicated in a sophisticated fake gold scam that defrauded a Nigerian businessman of $70,000.
