The State House medical team is carrying out a major health outreach at Kasensero Landing Site Stationed at Muyomba Gardens, Kyotera District. President Yoweri Museveni has announced that Kamwenge District will host a UPDF barracks as part of government efforts to strengthen security in an area that once faced prolonged instability due to incursions by Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) rebels. The Electoral Commission has declared Jacqueline Mbabazi unopposed for the position of Member of Parliament representing Older Persons in the Western Region. The declaration came after a petition filed by Jackson Tuhayire, a voter from Rwampara District, who challenged the nomination of candidate Patrick Kyamukate Mutabwire.
