The Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS) has released district, county/division, and subcounty/town council statistics from the 2024 National Population and Housing Census (NPHC). The data, which provides detailed baseline information up to the parish level, is crucial for planning, localization of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and effective implementation of the Parish Development Model (PDM). The area profiles, clustered by sub-region, are now available on the UBOS website. According to Chris N. Ex-Kampala Woman Member of Parliament, Hon. Nabilah Naggayi, has declared her intention to contest for the Kampala Lord Mayor seat in the upcoming elections. Speaking on Sanyuka TV on Monday morning, Naggayi confirmed she will run as an independent candidate, distancing herself from any political party. “I haven’t given up.
