Uganda is set to hold first ever Kampala marathon in December. Scheduled for December 2024, the marathon will feature races covering distances of 42.195km, 21.097km, 10km, and 5km, welcoming both elite and recreational local and international runners. Housing Finance Bank has announced a profit after tax of Ushs 65.1 billion for the financial year ended December 31, 2023. The Bank attributed the 11.3% year-on-year growth in net profits to digital transformation and revenue diversification efforts.
