Prime minister Rt. Hon. Robinah Nabbanja has been nominated to run for the 2026-2031 parliamentary elections for Kakumiro District. The Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS) has formalized landmark partnerships with the Bunyoro-Kitara Kingdom and the Umukuuka wa Bugisu cultural institution, establishing dedicated statistics units within their structures.
