Housing Finance Bank (HFB) and Boda Boda union have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to provide riders, bus and taxi drivers with tailored financial solutions for homeownership. The partnership will allow HFB to extend loans to “Boda Boda Union” members for building houses and purchasing land in designated Union villages. The Electoral Commission (EC) has officially released the polling dates for the 2026 General Elections, setting the stage for the election of the President, Members of Parliament, and Local Government leaders across Uganda. The Green Climate Fund (GCF) has approved a US$31 million results-based payment for Uganda in recognition of the country’s measurable success in reducing deforestation and greenhouse gas emissions.
