Parliamentary and Local government election campaign kicks off today across the country,Deputy Electoral Commission Spokesperson, Paul Bukenya has confirmed. According to the Electoral Commission (EC), a total of 2,025 candidates are contesting in the 353 directly-elected MP seats, 640 candidates are vying for 146 District and City Woman Representative posts, while 521 aspirants are contesting 146 City/District Chairperson positions.
