History has been told of Uganda’s first Olympic gold medal in the sprints at the Olympic games in 1972 that was won by John Akii Bua in the Men’s 400-meter hurdles. In a strategic move to improve poor road infrastructure and waste management in greater Kampala, Uganda has secured $600 Million funding from World Bank and French Development Agency. This project will be launched by President Yoweri Museveni this week in Kiira Municipality on Tuesday 10th September.
