Kampala Property Mogul Dr.Sudhir Ruparelia has been awarded the prestigious Lifetime Achievers Award at the National Property Awards 2025.
The annual awards was Organized by the Uganda Homeowners Association (UHA), at Sheraton Hotel on Saturday.

According to Edwin Musiime the organizer,life Time Award celebrates Sudhir’s transformative contributions to Uganda’s real estate sector and urban development, cementing his legacy as a pioneer in shaping the nation’s skyline.
“Dr. Sudhir has dedicated his life to elevating the standards of living for Ugandans,” Musiime said.

The National Property Awards underscored Sudhir’s enduring influence on Uganda’s urban transformation. His vision continues to inspire innovative real estate solutions, positioning him as a cornerstone of the nation’s development.

Musiime stressed that as Uganda grapples with its housing challenges, Sudhir’s legacy serves as a blueprint for public-private collaboration, offering hope for a more accessible and vibrant urban future.

“His investments in affordable housing, education, healthcare, and recreation have redefined urban development.” Musiime stated.

He further said that the National Property Award highlights the urgent need to address Uganda’s housing deficit, estimated at seven million units, with stakeholders calling for stronger public-private partnerships.

 About Dr Sudhir Ruparelia Journey

Sudhir’s journey began in the UK, where he amassed $25,000 before returning to Uganda in 1985. Initially a beer distributor, he pivoted to real estate, founding Meera Investments Ltd under the Ruparelia Group.
