PAN AFRICANIST,JOSHUA MAPONGA TO GRACE 8TH PAP GLOBAL AWARDS IN KAMPALA

Pan-Africanist, Bishop Joshua Marara Maponga, is destined to attend the 8th edition of Pan African Global Awards happening this Saturday at Fair way Hotel.

Pan African Pyramid (PAP) speaker Andrew Irumba told this website that Uganda’s Dr Sudhir Ruparelia will be Chief Guest for for the event themedCHAMPIONING FREEDOM, RIGHTS, AND AFRICAN PRIDE

According to Irumba the event is expected to attract various renowned Pan-Africans from across the continent as the Diaspora has started booking their booking tickets promising an evening of celebration and reflecting of the forefathers.

“Our senior brother Ayo Kimathi,who was here recently by the way is coming back this August, he’s among the key recipients this year. Bishop Joshua Maponga is also expected to come back, the Pearl of Africa”, Irumba stated.

The PAP Global Awards (Pan African Pyramid Global Awards) are an annual event held in Kampala Uganda to recognize individuals for their contributions to African progress and Pan Africanism.

They are organized by the Pan African Pyramid, a non-partisan forum focused on Pan-Africanism, patriotism, and nationalism. 

The awards celebrate and honor individuals for their achievements in various fields, such as business, education, environmentalism, media, and human rights, aligning with Pan-African ideals

Notable figures recognized in previous years include Uganda’s President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, philanthropist Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia, and NBS TV, among others. 

The awards aim to inspire intellectual discourse and promote the spirit of Pan-Africanism among the youth, according to the Pan African Pyramid

Last years edition saw hundreds of participants proudly clad in their charming African attires attended the event.

Top signatories included Pan-Africanist Bishop Joshua Marara III Maponga from Zimbabwe and his wife, Cuban Ambassador to Uganda H.E Mrs.Tania Perez, UN Peace Keeping Ambassador to East Africa HE. Paul Flynn, a representative from the family of Martin Luther King Junior, and officials from various pro-African NGOs, cultural chiefs and politicians.
