The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has directed schools to display the 2025 candidates’ registers for public viewing from August 10th to October 10th, 2025.
According to UNEB Executive Director, Mr. Dan Odongo, “It is the responsibility of Heads of Centres, candidates, and parents to critically analyse the registers and confirm the accuracy of the candidates’ biodata.”
This exercise aims to ensure the accuracy of candidate information, including index numbers, names, dates of birth, gender, photographs, and registered subjects. Mr. Odongo emphasized the importance of verifying this information, stating, “Let us now use the registers to ensure that the data submitted is accurate.”
Parents are advised to check the registers and report any discrepancies to UNEB within the stipulated period. UNEB has also provided an SMS option for verifying registration status, accessible by typing “Reg.” followed by the candidate’s full index number and sending it to 6600.
Mr. Odongo commended candidates, parents, and educators for successfully participating in the registration process, wishing them God’s blessings in their endeavors.
