MOSES MAGOGO REELECTED FUFA PRESIDENT

Moses Hassim Magogo has been re-elected President of the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) for another term 2025–2029 at the 101st FUFA Ordinary General Assembly in Hoima Resort Hotel.

Magogo, who first assumed the role in 2013, was elected unopposed by supporters Uganda’s football fraternity.

“It is my great pleasure to congratulate you on the support you have given to football. Both internal and external stakeholders have played a significant role in shaping the trajectory of our sport in recent years. Success is what we all work for in life,” he said in his acceptance speech.

Magogo, who is also Budiope East MP (NRM) described how Uganda’s football landscape has shifted under his stewardship.

“In 2013, certain things seemed impossible, but today they have become basic. Our success has been defined by the Know-How that we have acquired by training and experience, the hours we have committed to the game, the self and institutional discipline that we have exhibited, driven by our passion, hunger to succeed, and thereafter the Will of God.”Magogo stressed.

He credited the transformation in governance, competitions, and football business to what he called “bold innovations” that many initially doubted.

“We have introduced innovations and engineered changes that some thought were impossible or not a priority. The outcome has vindicated our efforts,” he noted.
