ONC HAKIM KYESWA VOWS TO KICK OUT CEC OLDDIES

Aspiring National Resistance Movement (NRM) Vice Chairman for Central Buganda Region, Kyeswa Hakim, has   vowed to trounce old guards  of Central Executive Committee of NRM as he presents his bid for Kampala Region position.

Kyeswa an outspoken Mukono youth leader rallied delegates not to give in to political manipulation or inducements, calling for generational change and a renewed spirit of vigilance within the party structures.

“Together, we have the power to shape history, but only if we remain vigilant,” Hakim said.

Hakim however expressed gratitude to steadfast leadership to National Chairman, His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni whose unwavering dedication continues to inspire all NRM Members.

“Comrades, our journey to contest for the position of NRM National Vice Chairman – Central Region began some time ago. From the very start, this mission has been driven not by personal ambition, but by your belief, your resilience, and your bold refusal to surrender to doubt and manipulation. I am humbled by the courage you have demonstrated, standing firm even as forces have attempted to derail our collective cause,”Kyeswa stressed.

This week, the NRM Electoral Commission officially released the dates for expression of interest in various positions and nomination roadmap of party members who intend to contest for positions on the Central Executive Committee (CEC). 

‎CEC is the NRM’s top organ charged with strategic guidance and decision-making.   

‎According to the Director of Communication at the party Secretariat, Hon. Emmanuel Dombo, the process will commence on 26th June to July 1st with the expression of interest. Nominations will take place from July 2nd to 4th.

H.E. President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni will headline the roadmap with the picking of the nomination forms for the NRM Chairman and party flag bearer this Saturday, 28th. H.E. Museveni will return forms and get nominated on Friday, July 1st. 

‎Meanwhile 14 members have been nominated unopposed, with 10 as flag bearers for Members of Parliament and 4 for district chairpersons.
