As runner up to the January 15th 2026 elections ,Kampala Business tycoons who man Ugandas economy have teamed up to Protect Nrm Gains by supporting President Yoweri Museveni 2026/2031 presidential bid.
Top on the list is Hajji Basajjabalaba who has committed resources and time to campaign for NRM party and president Yoweri Museveni to remain in power for the next five years. He has camped in western Uganda Bushenyi-Ishaka in particular to woo the business community support this cause saying he will not sleep until elections are over.

Another is Goodra Behakanira popularly known as maama Avemar iA successful business lady who owns business across the country has of recent been unable to concentrate on her business but look for votes for president Museveni and all NRM flag bearers in greater Kawempe.
“I want President Yoweri Museveni to win in Kawempe North and South and Faridah Nambi Kigongo and Madina Nsereko to win parliamentary seats in Kawempe respectively an opposition strong hold in our door to door and house to house campaign strategy,”Goodra stated.
Maama Avemar is now a household name in Kawempe. “true she mobilized the youth, orphans, ghetto youths, widows and jobless to support NRM party and president Museveni for he has a big plan for them after elections” hajji Twaha of Tula Kawempe said.
Goodra Behakanira has committed her resources and time to see to it that Kawempe is liberated from opposition.
Goodra Behakanira is the first woman to build and own a shopping mall called Avemar. She was also the first to start importation of container goods from China, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Hongkong. She has not been selfish at mentoring so many women in Uganda on how to succeed in business and become billionaires like her.
Sometime back a University in the United States of America (USA) bestowed her an honorary Doctorate due to her hard work.
“I’m not shy to talk about NRM Party and President Museveni because under his Government is when I became a successful business lady” She said.
Hammis Kiggundu has invested heavily in NRM party campaigns in Kampala city to make sure that opposition members are thrown out inlcuding Lord mayor Erias Lukwago .
Business man Patrick Bitature has also joined the politics of protecting the gains of NRM. He too has committed finances to that cause.
He owns several properties within and outside Uganda and owner of Simba Telcom.
