Armed with the mission of elevating talents and teaching cutting edge education relevant in the current job market, Victoria University has officially announced a complete transition to a digital learning model, a move poised to significantly impact Uganda’s higher education landscape.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Lawrence Muganga says the underscores the university’s dedication to “future-proofing” education through advanced technology and the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into its curricula.

Muganga an Artfificial Intelligence champion also introduced a new laptop loan scheme designed to ensure student access personal computers. The program allows students to acquire laptops and repay the cost in affordable installments over three years, aiming to overcome financial barriers to digital learning.
“We are not just adapting to the future; we are creating it,” Muganga stated.
“Digital learning, AI integration, and accessibility are now fundamental to how we equip students for success in a rapidly evolving global environment.”he stressed.

According to Muganga this strategic move positions Victoria University as a pioneer in digital education within the region, affirming its commitment to innovation, inclusivity, and academic excellence.
The Development was unveiled recently where the University announced sponsorship package for Pastor Wilson Bugembe 20 years anniversary concert due on at Serena Hotel.

Muganga described Pastor Wilson Bugembe as a “symbol of hope and resilience with qualities to transform leaders.
Dr Muganga stated that Victoria University’s involvement in Pastor Bugembe Concert reflects the institution’s commitment to supporting influential figures across various sectors of society.
